Advanced Inventory Management Solutions
The heart of Trak360 is the Inventory Module. Inventory is the only required module in the system. The Inventory module serves as the base for all other modules and processes in Trak360. The Inventory module has been the core of our systems since inception over 30 years ago. With that length of history, the module has become very robust and flexible.
With decades of experience and multitudes of applications, the Inventory Module has been refined and expanded to include capabilities to meet the needs of the most complex installations. From regulated pharmaceutical products to blankets or serialized electronic devices to water bottles, our Inventory module has the power and flexibility to handle your needs.
At the forefront of the Inventory Module is the Item Master. This robust table contains all information about the different types of items you track. The Item Master has all product information for each item and each unitization level. This includes key information like categories, brand names, generic descriptions, notes, volumes, weights, quantities, images and attachments, pharmaceutical information, specifications… and over 100 other parameters. The Item Master also has 24 user definable descriptive parameters to cover any unique information you have.
The Item Master has a number of integrated views and child tables to show all information related to a specific item. This includes information like preferred vendor purchase information, donor default receiving and valuation information, detailed item specifications. Other detail view show full audit trails of all transactions for the item, warehouse level breakdowns of quantity and replenishment requirements, receipt and shipment information, etc.
The main child table of the Item Master, and the true dynamic core of the Inventory Module is the Stock Table. The Stock Table shows in absolute granularity every aspect of products currently in inventory. The Stock Table breaks this information down to detail by license plate, lot number, order reservation, expiration date, product allocation, and more. The Stock Table also contains extensive details about a given item. This detail includes parameters including units per case, unit unit of measure, receiving donation or purchase order, unit values (in multiple currencies), serialization, handling dates, and over 100 additional parameters. The Stock Table also has 24 user definable descriptive parameters to cover any additional Information.
The Inventory Module also shows your inventory by a warehouse view breakdown. This allows you not only to quickly and easily see material availability by warehouse, but also allows for setting warehouse level min/max and replenishment requirements.
User profiles within Trak360 also allow access control to be limited to specific warehouses. This allows for limitation of a user within a specific warehouse to only see their inventory, requisitions, purchase orders, etc.
Allocation and Control
The Inventory Module is also the heart for segregation of material by various allocations, restrictions, blocks, holds, Q/C checks, and other use and availability settings. The main allocations are normally tied to assigning products for usage in specific countries, projects, or programs. For donated products, Donor Restrictions are maintained in the Stock data to forbid product from being misused. Various other information regarding regional blocks, product inspection and holds, receipt Sign-off and Q/C checks are all integrated into the Stock management.
The Inventory Module also includes a full set of standard transactional functions you would expect in and Warehouse Management System (WMS). These start with the basic transactions like Inventory Receipts, Transfers, and Issues. Beyond this there are transactions for unitization breakdown, warehouse transfers, cycle counting, picking, palletization, physical inventory, and more.
Of course, with all transactions comes an audit trail. In real time, from the Item Master, a user can click and see all transaction information related to an item down to the user and second. This transactional data is also summarized to give view of product utilization, turnover, and usage history.
With the robust data and transactional functionality of the Inventory Module also comes an extensive set of reporting and data export capabilities. Trak360 not only includes dozens of inventory specific standard reports, the inventory data is integrated into literally hundreds of available reports and forms in a typical installation.
Furthermore, the Ad-Hoc reporting function in Trak360 allows users to easily select any data from not only inventory, but any systems tables and quickly filter down, view, and export the results. Additionally, data can be aggregated, exported, and even graphed.
